GPGROUP COMPANY ACTS AS THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR IN THE MAJORITY OF PROJECTS, UNDERTAKING THE COORDINATION OF ALL SUBCONTRACTORS, IMPLEMENTATION OF THE ENTIRE PROJECT UNTIL HANDING IT OVER TO THE CUSTOMER FOR OPERATION
INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT OF ALL WORK ACTIVITIES WITHIN THE PROJECT, OBTAINING CUSTOMER’S APPROVAL OF ALL MATERIALS AND ITS DELIVERY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DETAILED DESIGN DOCUMENTATION AND PROGRESS SCHEDULE;
COORDINATION OF ALL SUBCONTRACTORS;
OBTAINING ALL NECESSARY APPROVALS, PERMISSIONS, PROMOTION OF CUSTOMER’S INTERESTS IN THE APPROPRIATE AUTHORITIES;
START-UP AND COMMISSIONING WORKS, INTEGRAL TEST OF ALL MEP SYSTEMS AND FACILITY COMMISSIONING;
A project team led by the project manager is formed for each GPGroup facility. A project manager communicates in “one contact” format with the customer for all the issues, and is available in 24/7 mode. A project team consists of a foreman and discipline engineers. A site office is arranged at the facility, and video camera surveillance is set up with an option of access for the customer.
Before ordering, all finish materials and MEP equipment are additionally approved by the customer (click this hypertext link to see an example of Material Approval Form (MAF)) and/or by technical consultants/ designer field supervision.
All the works are executed according to the approved progress schedule (click this hypertext link to see an example of Progress Schedule), the general contractor coordinates the work of all subcontractors including the direct contractors of the customer and is responsible for the final date of work completion.
General contractor carries out by himself the procedures for obtaining all approvals and building owner’s permissions, coordinates activities with the landlord or landlord’s maintenance department.
General contractor holds on a weekly basis the working meetings with the involvement of the customer, subcontractors with the purpose of coordinating the works and brightening up outstanding issues which emerge in progress of project implementation.
Start-up and commissioning works and handover of all MEP systems are carried out by the general contractor in accordance with the program of MEP systems commissioning prepared by him and authorized by the customer.
